Sandra Lou Hoover

Sandra Lou Hoover, age 89, of Topeka, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Life Care Center of LaGrange in LaGrange, Indiana.  She was born to the late Louis and Grace (Butler) McMillan on September 24, 1934. She married Wilbur “Roy” Hoover Jr.  on July 29, 1967 in Hobart, Indiana, he survives.

Sandra loved flowers and designing flower arrangements, as well as raising her children and following her faith as a member of the Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints of Kendallville. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Also surviving are children; Daniel (Soraya) Young of Salt Lake City, Utah, Rhonda (Edward) Ortiz of Valparaiso, Indiana, Lori (Daniel) Rulong of Mentor, Ohio, Terrence "Shawn" Young of Valparasio, Indiana, and Michael (Carol) Young of Valparaiso, Indiana; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister and a brother. She is preceded in death by her parents; Louis and Grace McMillan; one son, Christopher Hoover; two brothers and one sister.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Sandra’s life on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints of Kendallville from 2-4 pm. Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
