Robert Maurice Mckay Jr.

Robert Maurice McKay Jr., age 61, of Milford, Indiana, formerly of Niles, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 8:17 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on July 22, 1959 the son of Robert Maurice McKay Sr. and Donna Belle (Valentine) McKay in Niles, MI. On July 4, 2009 he married Tonya Smith in Noble County, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Tonya McKay of Milford, Indiana; four children, Robert Maurice McKay III of Niles, Michigan, Joni (Craig) Miller of Syracuse, Indiana, Bobbi Jo Collier of Milford, Indiana, and Tasha McKay of Crown Point, Indiana; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren on the way; and a brother, Jerry McKay of Niles, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Clint Collier.

Bob graduated from Niles High School and had worked for Steel Warehouse and Exacto, both of South Bend, IN. He enjoyed disc golfing, fishing, and was a great bowler, having bowled both a 300, and a 299.  More than anything,  Bob loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He was a very loving man and was always helping others. He was loved by all, and will be missed by many.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN.  The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
