Ladalie May

Ladalie May, age 65 passed away on December 16, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

She was born on July 20, 1955 the daughter of James and Naomi (Daughtery) May in Gary, IN.

She is survived by her beloved children, Candace (Alex) May of Illinois, Princess Cross of Portage, IN, Izes Cross of Merrillville, IN, Gamaliel Cross of Gary, IN; five grandchildren, Van Pullen Jr. of Portage, IN, Ethyn Nickson of Portage, IN, Princeton Cross of Portage, IN, and Preston Cross of Merrillville, IN, and Aero Cross-Porter of Gary, IN; Siblings, Lavanna May of Indianapolis, IN Annette May of Portland, OR, Jannette May of Indianapolis, IN, Rochelle May of Portland, OR, and Cedric (Terri) James May of Nevada; along with the Father of her children, Izes Cross Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Rosette May, and Lageanna May.

Ladalie was a talented artist and a life long learner with a an amazing sense of humor. She loved to sing, dance, shop and dress like a “Fashion Queen". As a Devout Christian, her faith was most important to her. She always loved reading her Bible, going to church and her favorite book of the Bible was Matthew.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN.
