Juanita Magallanes

Juanita Magallanes, age 71, of Cromwell, passed away on October 24, 2024 at home. She was born on September 26, 1953 to Domingo & Guadalupe (Rangel) Cruz in Marion, IN. On September 12, 2009 she married Juan Magallanes in Ligonier.

Juanita stayed home and raised her family, but also worked at Home Crest in Goshen.

Mrs. Magallanes is survived by her husband, Juan of Cromwell: two daughters, Dora Alicia Gancerez of Goshen, Maria Anita Gancerez of Cairo, GA; four sons, Jose Daniel Cruz (Jeanette) of Goshen, Adan Lee Gancerez (Lorena) of Callahan, FL, Adrian Lee Gancerez (Chantelle) of Milton, FL, Juan Vicente Gancerez (Angela) of Cairo, GA; twenty-two grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four brothers, Roger Cruz (Robin) of Angola, Joe Cruz (Cindy) of Marion, Fidencio Cruz (Amber) of Marion, and Domingo Cruz  of Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo & Guadalupe Cruz; two sisters, Delia Stephens & Celia Rizo.

A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier. Private family services will take place at a later date.
