John Tharp

May 10, 1961 — June 3, 2021

John Tharp, age 60, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on June 3, 2021 at home. He was born the son of Merritt K and Elizabeth J (Gorman) Tharp on May 10, 1961 in Fort Wayne, IN. He graduated from Homestead High School in 1979.

John was an evangelical Christian and enjoyed studying the Bible, Geology, and Meteorites.

Survivors include, his brother, Doug (Debra) Tharp; uncle, James Walsmith Sr; cousins, James Walsmith Jr, Sharon Walsmith, Steve Walsmith, Larry Sockrider, and Mark Sockrider.

A private cremation committal will take place.
