Jesse O. Wine

Jesse O. Wine, age 85, of Millersburg, IN passed away on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 1:44 PM at Goshen Hospital. He was born on April 25, 1934 the son of George Franklin and Hazel (Heatwoole) Wine. On October 29, 1955 he married Anna Ruth Stonesifer in Lebanon, PA.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Ruth Wine of Millersburg, IN; two sons, Willard L. (Dana) Wine of Parrish, FL and Philip O. (Julie) Wine of MIllersburg, IN; five grandchildren, Travis, Ashley, Stefan, Rees (Kelly), and April (Ben); six great-grandchildren, Preston, Diana, Kali, Ava, Brenna, and Lana; and four siblings, Audrey Shirk, Mark Wine, Rachael (George) Stover, and Jim (Tammera) Wine. Jesse was preceded by his parents and nine siblings.

Jesse was an owner operator and drove semi for over 30 years. He was a member of the Church of God and enjoyed restoring John Deere tractors in his retirement. Jesse had a great sense of humor and he loved to laugh.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier. The family will host a celebration of Jesse’s life at a later date.
