Jacqueline Mae Williams

Jacqueline “Jackie” Mae Williams, age 54, of Bristol, IN passed away following an illness late in the evening on Friday, November 9, 2018. She was born on November 23, 1963, the daughter of Walter Wayne and Shirley Mae (Hodge) Samm in Santa Ana, CA. On April 6, 2001, she married Roney A. Williams; he survives.

Also surviving are her four children, Ashley (James) Acton of Nappanee, IN, Derek (Megan) Elliott of Nappanee, IN, Jordan Williams of Bristol, IN, Paige Williams and her fiancé Robbie Harris of Bristol, IN; one brother; three grandchildren Layla Acton, Jaylyn Acton, Jackson Elliott, one grandbaby on the way in May of 2019; mother-in-law, Virginia Scott of Portland, OR, and her precious dog, Wrigley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Shirley Samm; and her best friend Maggie Longfellow.

Jackie graduated in 1982 from Elkhart Memorial High School.  She made a happy home in many different places for her children with her husband, Ron. The things she really liked to do outside of parenting were the following, talk on the phone, watch T.V. listen to 80s music on vinyl, crochet and dance like nobody is watching.  She will always be remembered for her big heart and memories she made with her family and friends.
