Gregory Wayne Collins

Gregory Wayne Collins, age 53, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at home following a brief illness. He was born on October 4, 1967, the son of Bobby and Carolyn (Baker) Collins in Elkhart, IN.

Greg graduated from Concord High School in 1985 and drove semi for over 30 years. He was currently owner of GWC Products and Services. He had an incredible work ethic and was very skilled in building and welding. He loved to tinker and tackle new projects, while passing his skills on to his children. Greg also enjoyed spending time on Cass Lake with his family and loved to fish.

He is survived by his father, Bobby (Diana) Collins of Middlebury, IN, his mother, Carolyn Collins of Elkhart, IN; two children, Dustin (Crystal) Collins of Goshen, IN and Jessica (Tim) Neace of Lucasville, OH; 7 grandchildren; and two siblings, Jeff Collins and April Collins, both of Elkhart, IN. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ruth Collins, Roy Collins, Edith Collins, and Mabel Baker; along with his fiancée, Jessica Shultz.

The family will host a celebration of Greg’s life on September 25, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the pavilion located at Foxwood Hills Campground. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
