Douglas Dee Wine

Douglas Dee Wine, age 60, of Ligonier, IN, formerly of Syracuse, IN passed away at 9:45 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on August 30, 1957 the son of James D. Wine and Mary Lou Lash in Sturgis, MI. On June 20, 1982, he married Marilyn Hoover; she survives.

Also surviving are four children, Lisa (Jeremy) Arnold of Kendallville, IN, Justin (Heather) Wine of Nappanee, IN, Paula (Shane Rouse) W ine of Ligonier, IN, and Christopher ( Chrissy Page) Wine of Cromwell, IN; 8 grandchildren; his mother, Mary Lou Jones and his very special grandmother, Maxine Wyer both of Ligonier, IN; along with two sisters , T res sa Jones of Ligonier, IN and Kathy (Scott) Breyfogle of Ligonier, IN. He was preceded in death by his father.

In keeping with Douglas' wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sturgis, Michigan Toy Run .
