Douglass Dean Martin, 71, passed away of natural causes on May 25, 2021 in Fort Wayne, IN
He was born in Baltimore, MD June 15, 1949 to Eutha and Clarence Martin, and is survived by his two daughters and one brother.
He was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, PA and attended the University of Maryland.
He was most successful in the Military environment working at Valley Forge Military Academy and with the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, NM.
The last 30 years of his life were tumultuous with the challenges that came with mental illness/ bipolar disorder. Those who knew him in his earlier years will remember his infectious personality, his zest for life and love for friends and family.
