Charles Owen Elliott

Charles O. Elliott, 60, of Ligonier, IN, passed away on November 19, 2018 at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, IN.

He was born January 22, 1958 in Washington Court House, OH to Wlater D. and Tish Lou (Brainard) Elliott.

He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Elliott, Lily Conrad, both of Ligonier, IN; nieces, Sondra (Ward) Drew, Mindy Elliott, Ida Robbins; great nieces Jessica Conrad, Alyssa Conrad; great-great nieces, Hazel Elliott, Natalie Clingenpeel; nephews, Zachery Elliott, Robert "Buck" Conrad, David Jones, Jason Hudnell; and great-great nephew, Joey Clingenpeel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Tish Lou Elliott; sisters, Connie Jones, Wanda Case; and nephew, Richard Jones.

Charles liked to mushroom hunt and look for Eagles soaring in the sky. He enjoyed everything about the American Flag and Native American culture.  Staying home and catching up on TV Land programs, NASCAR racing events, and the weather channel allowed him to plan his next trip to Walmart to shop and go out to eat.  He loved his niece, Sondra’s Homemade pizza and wished that every day was his birthday to receive one.  People who knew him will remember him as a very kind man who would give the shirt off his back.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
