April Ann Alber, 43, of Three Rivers, MI, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 surrounded by so many of her loved ones. She was born on February 21, 1981 to Fred Wayne and Candy (Chapman) Gallay in Three Rivers.
April had known Eric Alber for many years, even as classmates back in elementary school. He pursued her for a long time, but she always seemed to turn him down. Finally, she relented and on July 2, 2011 April married Eric, the love of her life.
April loved animals and trips to the beach, but most of all she loved her family. She loved spending time with all of them, cooking for them, and watching them grow. Her love for her children was, and forever will be, undying - there are no words that can adequately describe how she felt about them.
If April loved you, she loved you fiercely. Her husband and kids can vouch for that, and so can all her siblings, nieces, and nephews. April was the best mom and aunt. She always had a house full, which is exactly how she wanted it, making enough food to feed an army and turning a blind eye to wild indoor food and water fights.
April will be forever missed by her family and her friends, who all loved her very very much. She is survived by her husband, Eric Alber; a son, Blake Gallay; daughters, Kandiss Alber, Lexuss Alber, and Lynda Alber; father, Fred Gallay; sisters, Angel (Nathaniel) McCord, Amber (Randy) Parker, and Brooke Gallay; a brother, Fred (Chelsey) Gallay II; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Candy Gallay; her aunt, Leanne; and her Grandma HeHe.
A celebration of April’s life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Corey Church of the Nazarene, 10056 Water St., Three Rivers, MI 49093.
