Steven Lee Cox

Steven Lee Cox, age 68, of Albion, IN, passed away unexpectedly at the North Ridge Village Nursing Home at 5:00PM on Monday, May 29, 2017. He was born in Charleston, WV on November 15, 1948, the son of Arley and Dulcie (Criner) Cox.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Cox of Detroit, MI; brother, Guy Cox of Fort Wayne, IN; and sisters, Joan Routsong of Albion, IN and Kathy (Don) Irwin of Albion, IN, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Brenda Cox, sisters, Sharon Yates and Cheryl Cox and his parents, Arley and Dulcie Cox.

Steven was a very simple man. His career consisted of being an owner operator of a semi-truck. This allowed him to travel all around and spend time learning about other parts of the United States. He loved his dog named Dude and spent many moments with him. Fishing kept Steven occupied while he was not working.

In keeping with his wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center. A celebration of Steven’s life will take place at a later date.
