Michael Baczynski

Michael Edward Baczynski I, 63, of rural Rome City died in his sleep Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at his home after complications from a recent illness. Mr. Baczynski had been employed at Colwell General, Hayden Honda and Advantage Thermal. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Baczynski was a member of ABATE, the Knights of Columbus and the Northport Road Band. He was also a member of St. Gaspar's Catholic Church. He was born Nov. 29, 1952, to Edward and Elaine Baczynski. He and his wife, Angela, were married July 11, 1980, in Jefferson County, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Angela Baczynski; his children, Maude-Jo Yerrick, Ryan Yerrick, Michael Baczynski, Vanessa Baczynski, Mack Baczynski, Madeline Baczynski, Nick Pooler, and Jason Baczynski; his parents, Edward and Elaine Baczynski; his brothers, Mark, Matt, Marty, Myles, Marshall and Mitchell Baczynski; a sister, Maralee Welshiemer; and a grandson. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gaspar's Catholic Church, Rome City. A funeral Mass will follow.
