Sharon Schroeder

Sharon M. Schroeder, age 68, passed away on September 23 at Lutheran life Villages after a three year battle with cancer.
Sharon was born October 14, 1945, to William and Doris Hrapcak. On December 1, 1963, she married the love of her life, Theodore D. Schroeder. Together they raised four children.
Sharon worked as a nurse’s aide and medication aide for many years before going back to college. At the age of 56, Sharon graduated from Ivy Tech State College with a degree in Nursing.
Sharon was the ultimate caregiver. Besides working in the area of geriatrics for 30+ years, she also took care of her family. Her parents, children and grandchildren were the center of her universe. She was always so proud of their accomplishments.
Sharon enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, and reading. She also loved the Lord and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Wolcottville, IN.
Sharon is survived by her children, Kathleen (Norman) Lovely of Dexter, MI, Suzanne (Kenneth) Malone of Sturgis, Theodore (Tara Monroe) Schroeder of Waterloo, IN, and Timothy (Konnie) Schroeder of Wolcottville, IN. Sharon leaves behind 12 grandchildren, Zachary Lovely, Sarah (David) Perkins, Andrew Lovely, Megan (John) Axel, Tiffany Malone, Joseph Cunningham, Angela Malone, Breely (Todd) Taylor, TJ Schroeder, Will Schroeder, Kayla Schroeder and Kelli Jo Schroeder, 7 great-grandchildren. And her sister, Linda Corman, of LaGrange, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
As she wished, cremation has taken place and burial will take place at a later date.
