William Hrapcak

William Hrapcak, of LaGrange passed away on February 26, 2014 at the age of 92. He was born on February 9, 1922. He married Doris Koedyker in 1948.

He survived by two daughters Sharon Schroeder of LaGrange, Linda Corman of LaGrange; 7 grandchildren , Tim (Konnie) Schroeder, Ted (Tara Monroe) Schroeder, Kathleen (Norman) Lovely, Sue (Ken) Malone, Melissa Taylor, Gerald (Jaime) Taylor, and Randol Respecke ; 14 great-grandchildren; and special friends Mike and Mary Lehrn.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, three brothers, and four sisters.

Mr. Hrapcak was a part of the Navy for 22 years before retiring in 1964. He then retired from U.S. Steele as plant security. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and also fishing. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church of Wolcottville.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier. A graveside service will follow at a later date.
