John Russell Hollowell, Jr.

John Russell Hollowell, Jr., of Ligonier, passed away on February 27, 2014 at his home. He was born June 25, 1955 to John Russell and Julia Hollowell, Sr.

He is survived by his fiancé, Tina Channing of Goshen, IN; 3 Children: Heather Paradise, Jesse Hollowell and John R. Hollowell, III; Brothers: Lloyd R. Hollowell of Topeka, Thomas B. Hollowell of Ligonier; Step-Siblings: Victor Hiatt of Ligonier, Rick Hiatt of Ligonier, Lana Ostrander of Ligonier and Anita Miller of South Shore, KY. His father, John Hollowell, Sr., also survives.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his step-mother, and a brother, William Runyun.

He was a man of many skills, including carpentry, plumbing and auto mechanics. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved tent camping and being on a boat. He was a member of Ligonier Sons of the Legions.

A memorial service in his honor will be at noon Friday March 7, 20014 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Celebrant Larry Baker will officiate. A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center.
