Mary Strawser

Mary Strawser, age 88, of Ligonier passed away on March 24, 2013 at Avalon Village in Ligonier, Indiana.

She was born on November 12, 1924 to John and Helen Wolovlek in St. Joseph, Michigan. In September of 1946 she married Robert Wade Strawser, he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Strawser worked for Cooper Tire before retirement. She attended St. Michaels Catholic Church in Waterloo and liked to play bingo and enjoyed bowling in a league. She was a member of the VFW and Legion ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Biglow of Florida, Arthur Strawser of Ligonier, IN, ; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and one sister.

There will be no public services. A Cremation committal service will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
