Cheryl J. Cox

Cheryl J. Cox, age 51, of Goshen, IN left IU Health Goshen Hospital on March 2, 2012 at 1:16 PM to forever be with her mom and dad. She was born on April 20, 1960 to Arley “Bud” and Dulcie (Criner) Cox in Charleston, WV.

She is survived by three children, Penny (Clay) Moore of Albion, Jenifer Erwin of Syracuse and Erik James Rodriguez of Goshen; five grandchildren, Audrianna, Austin, Abigail, Amanda and Ashlyn all at home; four siblings, Joan Routsong of McAllen, TX, Steve Cox of Albion, Kathy (Don) Irwin of Etna, and Guy Cox of Fort Wayne, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sharon Yates.

She worked for Commodore Homes in Syracuse for several years and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Goshen. Cheryl enjoyed being outdoors and feeding birds. She will always be remembered for her enduring beauty, love of the sun, and beyond all, the love she showed for others.

A memorial service will be held on March 17, 2012 at 4 PM at Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, 10419 North Turkey Creek Road, Syracuse, IN 46567 with Pastor Harlan Steffen officiating.

A cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier with a private family burial to take place at Syracuse Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Wawasee Lakeside Chapel.
